Restaurant is an independent

restaurant, located within the

ground of Claydon House,

a National Trust property in

Buckinghamshire, offering

renowned cuisine surrounded

by beautiful gardens and

breathtaking views.

  

Following 18 exciting years running Oxfordshire's famous restaurant boat,

"Rosamund The Fair", the owners, Tim Matthews and Sophia Goodford, have now

transformed The Carriage House Restaurant into an opulent dining room experience that's

hard to resist; and an ideal venue for weddings, parties and corporate events.

Claydon, offering visitors to this

historic location an opportunity

to relax in the most lovely

surroundings and enjoy delicious

and imaginative dishes created

by Head Chef/Proprietor

We use only the best, carefully sourced produce,

offering you beautiful modern British cuisine.  The

finest meats from our local butcher, fresh game from

the estate and seasonal fruits and vegetables from

the Claydon Kitchen Garden are all used to create

delicious and imaginative dishes for you to savour.

OPENING TIMES FOR LUNCHES AND DINNERS

Our restaurant menus change regularly with the restaurant open for fine dining on the 1st

Saturday of the month, for special events on the 3rd Saturday of the month, and for

lunches every day except Thursdays.  On Sundays we offer a delicious 2 or 3 course

Sunday Lunch menu at £16.50 or £22.50 in addition to our current seasonal lunchtime menu.

 

 Parties of 10 guests or more may book

any day of the week for dinner, and

private parties can enjoy exclusive use

of our restaurant for lunch or dinner

any day throughout the year.

Our quiet, professional approach to

organising private events gives

you the assurance of a truly

memorable occasion.

is closed to the public
